Our product partners and products of course are carefully analyzed on the parameters of being natural, organic, preservative and chemical free, eco-friendly and 100% genuine.
Gyaan Dixit seems like the type to be born for success. While he was employed at a local pharmaceutical company, he always had a hidden desire to do something different, something that could help him bring a positive difference in the lives of people. Being a glorious student of MBA Operations in the past, he had this strong penchant to serve the humanity in a better way. It was his relentless quest to bring an organic revolution to pharmaceutical companies that he quit his job in 2014. Henceforth, he, along with his elder brother Gaurav Dixit, co-founded a proprietorship firm named Dreamz Nutrition & Pharmaceuticals. In the initial year, the firm launched about 12 products. Their abilities paved way to get the unexpected. The firm grew quickly and soon after, Dixit brothers recorded the very first turnover of 8 million INR. Eventually, they upgraded the firm Dreamz Nutrition and Pharmaceuticals as a private limited company in 2016. Presently, the total number of products under this brand is more than 24. Gyaan Dixit had the will to succeed over and over again and that is why the story did not end there. In fact, it gave birth to a new startup when Mr. Dixit initiated his new venture Pharmacyonnet in 2017. He wanted his brand presence all across the nation and what could be faster than Internet that could help him fulfill his mission rapidly. An e-commerce store could help him reaching such cities where demand or natural products was high but supply was inadequate.
To fuel his notion of giving people a healthy, natural and organic lifestyle, Mr. Dixit burnt the midnight oil by doing extensive research in this area with his team members. His research showed that the country lacked big sellers of natural and organic products and this was the core reason of several health and skin problems increasing day by day in India. His mission was to Go Green and to make living life chemical free, a possibility. As a result of exploration of natural substitutes for harsh chemicals used in several healthcare products, Pharmacyonnet succeeded to bring forth purely natural healthcare products to the masses. The wake up call was introducing not just the pharmaceutical products that were purely natural but also to add a range of organic healthcare products.
The next strategy was to eliminate competition with the cruel chemical healthcare products straightway. Therefore, initially the margin was kept minimum, i.e. enough to cover the cost of production. And what happened next was phenomenal. People began accepting the brand happily as they could get preservative free, chemical free plus purely natural products at lowest prices and that too, at their doorstep. The brand recognition of Pharmacyonnet across the nation spread like fire and the company recorded a remarkable turnover in the first 6 months. Presently, the company has 150+ seller partners, 8,000+ products & around 5000+ customers. By the end of 2017, Gyaan Dixit incorporated First Rate Etails Private limited in order to segregate online sales under this company.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now? How did you overcome these challenges?
Doing business In India is always a challenging part & a hard nut to crack. Firstly it was a trouble finding & organizing technical team & in small cities it is always difficult, then a well organized team. Funding is always a requirement for promoting our startup, however the revenue we have generated from our business Dreamz Nutrition & Pharmaceuticals Private Limited was put into this.
How you think your initiative could change the society/industry.
See, In India we have big giants in ecommerce but these giants are not concentrating for a particular segment, we have chosen the segment which is priority for anyone but has been overlooked in our society due to various restrictions. Healthcare is always our forte & we have always looked forward in generating a platform where one can find all health related needs. Whether it’s a medicine or organic flour, from tooth brush to wheel chair & from ortho band to ortho mattresses we have it all.
Share some details about the investments that you have been able to fetch for the initiative till now.
Honestly, we haven’t tried getting investment at all. No doubt we are working with our pace & with minimum resources but we think it’s better to grow yourself & then talk with equality. We welcome any investor to our project anytime.
