Tell us about Flair Boat?
We are an EdTech firm focussed at addressing a range of
problems in the placement and hiring cycle. Our unique technology uses predictive algorithms
based on features contained within resumes, profiles collected from users, company profiles
submitted by workers, and the contents of companies’ job listings to best match the jobs with
deserving candidates.
Tell us about the founders ?
I was born in a very small district Pali in Marwar, Rajasthan which was highly entrenched with
a marwari culture of entrepreneurism. I grew up in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Both of my parents are
government employees. My father is a civil engineer and my mother is a professor.I have an
elder brother who is a graduate from IIT, Roorkee. He is the first mentor in my life who made
me what I am today. The first Co-founder of FlairBoat is Aryan Goyal who is a graduate from
IIT, Kanpur , and Chief Financial Officer of FlairBoat . The second Co-Founder of FlairBoat is
Avesh Rao who is a graduate from IIT,BHU and Chief Operating Officer of FlairBoat. Both of
them are my old time friends.
I am highly grateful to the elite team of FlairBoat who are essential part of this beautiful
journey, It is their hard work and dedication because of which today here we stand on the
new heights of glory.
What is the inspiration behind?
FlairBoat had a very humble beginning, It
all started with a vision and a spark of an idea. As we studied at one of the most prominent
universities in India with the best resources which made campus placements easier, but on
the other hand our colleagues and friends, who studied in lower-tier colleges and cities faced
problems during the time of campus placements which inspired us to solve a very vital
problem in hiring and placement cycle. The kick-start was in a dorm room in 2015 with a main
objective to provide opportunity, opportunity may be in the form of a job or knowledge or
internship or scholarship.we understand that today the market is different than it used to be
before, the digitalization of market has changed the entire scenario, degrees and
qualifications have become a benchmark rather than a source to knowledge and the entire
educational system is focused in pre set of education which is outdated, the education system
is unable to catch up with change in technology and demand so we started with the solution
to this problem by providing the industrial feedback to colleges and I am very glad to tell you
that we are India’s largest company which is doing this and we have a network of over 2500+
colleges.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now? How did you overcome these challenges?*
The most challenging part which we faced in the journey of FlairBoat till now
was that when we started this company and people specially colleges and recruiters did not
took us seriously due to our lack of experience in the field but by working hard and
efficaciously these kind of problem are resolved with the outcome of the result
How you think FlairBoat could change the society/industry.*
We believe that technology can change education and recruitment sector drastically and
there is no other company like us which is working in education and recruitment
simultaneously understanding the demand and supply of the industry.
What are your plans for next 3 years?
Within 3 years I think our presence would be much
more visible in the user end, making us India’s one of the largest EdTech and recruitment
company.
